Quinn appeared on the TV broadcast from the weekend’s SpeedSeries event and revealed the circuit extension plans to pit lane reporter Chris Stubbs.
“We’re actually doing a bit of a track alteration, extension, whatever you want to call it this Christmas, so you’ll have to wait for that,” Quinn said.
“It’s around Turn 2, that’s all I’ll say,” he added when asked to elaborate.
Speedcafe understands the new layout is expected to extend the circuit to a total of 12 corners and add elevation to an otherwise flat venue.
Track works are expected to happen in mid-to-late December, allowing the new surface to cure over the summer period in the national off-season.
Quinn purchased a parcel of land to the west of Turn 2 in late 2024, utilising it as an off-road park.

The existing 3.126km tarmac circuit is known as ‘The Paperclip’ due to its compact and somewhat simplistic design.
Featuring four right hand corners and only two left, the layout has received mixed reactions since the circuit opened in 1999.
Plans for track extensions have been mooted for several years.
Ideas included an Oran Park-style crossover bridge and an extension built off the existing Turn 6 running back towards Champions Way.
The circuit has undergone significant upgrades since Quinn bought it in 2021, including the construction of pit lane garages, corporate facilities and other paddock infrastructure.
Quinn also brought the Supercars Championship back to the venue in 2025 after a six-year absence.
